The Pelvic Floor Center at Virginia Mason is the first medical center in western United States to receive the Center of Excellence (COE): continence care in women designation. Since its inception in 2000, Virginia Mason’s Pelvic Floor Center has successfully treated more than 2,500 surgical patients.The Pelvic Floor Center is part of the Virginia Mason Medical Center. Recognized nationally for their expertise in prostate cancer, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction, the Virginia Mason urologists have played a vital role at the medical center for more than 80 years. Virginia Mason physicians have researched and launched many of the newer techniques for treating female incontinence, which are now in widespread use across the country and around the world.
