Lauren Sullivan, an executive with more than 15 years of experience helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients develop and commercialize new therapies, has joined the Epstein Becker GreenHealth Care and Life Sciences practice.

Before joining EBG, Ms. Sullivan was Vice President of Healthcare Law at a biopharmaceutical company, where she co-led the company’s legal department. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Head of Alliance Management at a San Francisco biotech company, where she created and led its Healthcare and Business Law Group. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sullivan served as senior in-house legal counsel at various biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies. She began her legal career as an attorney in the Biotechnology & Life Science Practice Group of a national law firm.

“Lauren has vast in-house experience and understands the nuanced legal and operational challenges that bio-pharma companies face.” said Mark Lutes, Chair of the firm’s Board of Directors. “Lauren will marshal our FDA, clinical trial, compliance, and reimbursement resources and knowledge to address bio-pharma commercialization needs.”

“It is refreshing to see a law firm that looks at the bio-pharma industry through a dual legal and business lens and that understands that change in one area affects many others,” said Ms. Sullivan. “EBG has the full set of compliance, legal, and regulatory professionals who need to interact for successful product launch.”

“Lauren’s deep understanding of the full life cycle of products, from inception to market, will be particularly beneficial to our bio-pharma clients,” added George B. Breen, Chair of the firm’s National Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Steering Committee.
