NAFC Launches the “Life Without Leaks” Podcast

The National Association for Continence, the nation’s leading advocate for those living with bladder and bowel disorders,  announced today the launch of the “Life Without Leaks” podcast.. The bi-weekly series offers patient-friendly, in-depth information and insights on the management and treatment of incontinence.

The podcast features conversations with accomplished physicians, therapeutic innovators, patients learning to live with their condition and other experts who discuss essential topics for those with incontinence. Listeners will find hints and tips for better management, insights on state-of-the-art medical care and stories offering hope and guidance,  all presented in a conversational, friendly format.

The program is hosted by Steve Gregg, NAFC’s executive director, and Robin Sterne and Bruce Kassover, NAFC’s patient education gurus.

“Whether we’re speaking with a physician about new treatments, an industry professional with advice on how to find effective products, a patient with a lived experience that can benefit others, or anyone else with a perspective that would be relevant to members of the incontinence community, we hope to help educate and inspire our listeners to spread the word that incontinence is treatable and that help is available today,” said Gregg.

“With 104 million listeners per month, (40% are 35-54 years old and 22% are 55 years and older), podcasting as a platform is a rapidly growing approach to communicate with our audience”, said Gregg.

We’re so excited to launch this program,” said Kassover. “It gives us the opportunity to deliver listeners welcoming, relevant conversations with expert guidance that they can put to use immediately. This is our listeners’ chance to hear directly from truly world-class physicians, physical therapists and caregivers – and it’s also a chance to hear stories from others going through the same struggles so they know they’re not alone. There’s a hopeful message we’re getting out, and we hope it inspires people to take action that makes a real difference for them.”

“Life Without Leaks” is available on all major podcasting platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, Stitcher and Amazon Music, as well as on the NAFC website.
